CU Denver Business School — Fall 2026

Welcome & Session Logistics

  • Course: ISMG 2050 – Business Problem Solving Tools
  • Instructor: Franklin Diaz, Adjunct Faculty (franklin.diaz@ucdenver.edu)
  • Class Schedule: Monday & Wednesday, 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM MDT
  • Audience: Undergraduate business students focusing on applied spreadsheet modeling, data analytics, and decision making.
  • Arrival Target: Please plan to arrive by 3:15 PM to test AV and presentation audio before students enter.

Classroom Location & Walking Directions

Building: CU Denver Business School Building
Address: 1475 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80202
Room: Room 2501 (2nd Floor)

Building Access: Enter via the main doors at the corner of 15th and Lawrence Street. Take the central stairs or elevators to the 2nd floor. Room 2501 is located directly along the main hallway.

Parking Options

  • Street Parking: Metered parking is available on Lawrence, Larimer, 14th, and 15th Streets (payable via street kiosks or the ParkMobile app).
  • Campus Surface Lots & Garages:
    • Tivoli Garage / 7th Street Garage: Located on the Auraria Campus (a 7–10 minute walk across Speer Blvd).
    • Commercial Garages: Multi-level public parking structures are located within one block at 14th & Lawrence and 15th & Arapahoe.

Public Transit & Light Rail

  • RTD Light Rail: Disembark at Theatre District / Convention Center Station (D and H lines). Walk two blocks northwest on 14th St and turn right onto Lawrence St.
  • Commuter Rail & Regional Buses: Denver Union Station is an 8–10 minute walk away, or take the free MallRide shuttle along 16th Street to Lawrence.

Classroom Tech & AV Setup

  • Display: Teaching podium equipped with dual projection and standard HDMI and USB-C connectors.
  • Presenter Machine: You may connect your personal laptop or bring slides on a standard USB thumb drive.
  • Wi-Fi: Connect to the CU Denver Guest network upon arrival via standard browser click-through.
